We are so excited: our friends and fellow merchants Jeff and Noel from Yearbook got a fantastic write-up in Chicago Home & Garden Magazine. What's even cooler: the writer, Gina Bazer, also listed us and our neighbor Moss Modern Flowers as destinations. (Thank you Jan Parr for dropping by and dropping off this great issue. You are probably wondering who will be managing the store when I am at the agency?  I want to introduce you to my fellow "shop girls": Sarah and Keeli. Both artists, mothers and good friends...Come in and meet them!

" I am Sarah Steedman. Mother of two young girls. An artist, a crafter and a sculptor. I am also a passionate gardener and cook and have a weakness for good chocolate. Suzanna and I have been friends for a long time and shared many good meals together. I love Scandinavian design aesthetic, and will listen to any kind of music at all, although lately I've been re-visiting the 80's pop of my Michigan youth. I am looking forward to working at the first brick and mortar Binth store!  For the past seven years I have worked as a stay at home mom, designing and selling stuffed animal toys under the name "Scrappynation." My new line is called "Hushlings"-stuffed worry cloud toys for kids of all ages. Come in and check them out!  My goals here at Binth Studio + Store are to have fun, to laugh often and to work at making the store and studio a great space to visit."

" My name is Keeli Mickus. I am a wife, mother of two, lover of apple pie and a design addict. I am a graphic designer by trade and before joining her at BINTH, Suzanna and I have worked on some major advertising campaigns together. I believe there is room for smart and artful design in the everyday. I believe in editing, editing and more editing. 

My favorite things right now are a whimsical cookie jar, irreverent wall plates, magnetic building blocks. Oh, and the dress that fits just right. Having spent half my life in Germany, I have an affinity for most things German. We try to speak German around my boys and here at the Studio. I am very excited about this new creative adventure called Binth Studio + Store. Stop by and visit. Bring the kids! "
